Hello, and welcome to Colin's Time to Bake.

The online baking show, where every week is a new adventure.

Life after Bake Off

The oven is off and the bunting is down.

How do I live...without you? I want to know. What will I do until next year? What on earth will I bake from week to week now?! I HAVE NO GUIDANCE! OH MAN! IVE RELIED TOO MUCH ON THIS!

But its okay right, it's coming back next year. Bake Off will be back on Channel 4, sure, there is no Mary...or Sue... or Mel... it can still be good right? RIGHT?!

I think I am having a crisis. I need a fix. I need to get myself together and realise that this show, that for three years in a row, has given me a 9 week play-list of things I wouldn't normally bake and pushed my adventure to new horizons. My favourite being the Prinsesstårta, which has done surprisingly well on the views.

The end of 2016 will see me turning to the traditional Christmas, searching through Pinterest and seeing what everyone has been creating on there. Testing out what I think sounds fun, and some that sound super bizarre!

Creating my own recipes is fun, but I have struggled to make the time to build up my own take on the traditional. I also don't feel that the world needs another way to make a chocolate cake. I LOVE baking, and trying out recipes that others have done, so comment below, or email me any links or recipes that are fun.

2017 will be a new year, and with that, I hope a whole new era in musical baking, parody cakes and hopefully lots more traveling and eating! Bake Off may be over, but I am not going to stop!

See you soon
